Cristian Ritondo Defends Integrity Amid Accusations

The head of the PRO bloc in the Chamber of Deputies and president of the party in the province of Buenos Aires, Cristian Ritondo, responded to allegations of alleged illicit enrichment arising from his real estate investments. In an interview with Radio Mitre, Ritondo stated that all his activities are duly declared, highlighting his long career as a real estate developer.

Ritondo pointed out that the information about his properties and businesses comes from sources related to his own companies, and that everything is in order both personally and professionally. He emphasized that his development company has been in existence for more than 30 years, originally founded by his father, and that he has been in charge since his father's passing in 2008.

Regarding the initiatives that will be addressed in that day's session, Ritondo mentioned the suspension of the PASO elections, the trial in absentia, and the repeat offenses law. On the latter, he expressed the importance of putting an end to the "revolving door" that allows for criminal recidivism in the province of Buenos Aires. Regarding the PASO, he highlighted the need to achieve consensus for its suspension and subsequent discussion in an election year.

Finally, Ritondo addressed the possibility of an agreement between the PRO and La Libertad Avanza at the national level, indicating his support for a union with that party to confront Kirchnerism. He stressed the importance of uniting based on similarities rather than differences, and expressed his conviction that working together is key to achieving electoral success.
